A Strong Start to the 2026-27 Academic Year: Intensive French Course at the College of Europe

Before the start of classes, a selected group of students from the Johannes Gutenberg Promotion arrived early in Bruges to take part in an intensive introductory French course, designed to strengthen their academic language skills and prepare them for the bilingual learning environment of the College.

This valuable initiative was made possible thanks to the continued support of our long-standing partners, the Alliance française Oost-Vlaanderen and the Embassy of France in Belgium.

We are sincerely grateful for their continued trust and collaboration, as well as for their commitment to promoting multilingualism, intercultural understanding and language learning within our institution. Their support makes an important contribution to the student experience at the College and helps sustain the open, multilingual and distinctly European academic environment that characterises our community.
