The 2023 edition of the Negotiations in Practice executive training course took place from 15 to 19 November 2023.
The five-day training course aimed to furnish participants with a practical understanding of the negotiation mechanisms and dynamics both between and within EU institutions. Our high-level trainers transferred the necessary tools to enhance participants’ negotiation, communication, influencing, and lobbying skills.
Participants engaged in activities crafted to improve their skills and to provide practical insights into the complex world of international negotiations.
One distinctive feature of the program is the inclusion of simulation games based on real dossiers handled by both the EU and the United Nations. This hands-on approach allows participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, fostering a deeper comprehension of the challenges and opportunities inherent in diplomatic negotiations.
This edition saw the participation of a multicultural group, from Denmark to Malta. Participants were actively involved in the training modules and had the opportunity to maximize their learning experience through the participation in practical exercises, group works and feedback sessions.
