Training on Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT)

The Florence School of Regulation (FSR) and the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) organise a training on Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) covering the most relevant concepts at stake (i.e., insider trading and market manipulation), the main obligations and prohibitions falling on market participants and other sector stakeholders (e.g., the obligation to disclose inside information) and the cooperation between the different players in market surveillance (NRAs, ACER etc.). The course builds on the unique academic knowledge and practical expertise, and experience of instructors from FSR and ACER. Representatives from organised marketplaces and financial conduct authorities will also share their experiences. The course is hosted by the European Energy and Climate Policy Chair at the College of Europe.

Registration for the course is still possible until 15 October 2023 on the EUI website.
