Alejandro Ribó has long experience in running EU negotiation simulations on community issues and on the Common Foreign and Security Policy for both university students and public officials all over the world, including in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Latin America and Saudi Arabia; and in various institutions, among others in the College of Europe (Bruges & Natolin), MGIMO (Moscow) between 2006 and 2015, Hertie School (Berlin) in 2020. He is a graduate of the College of Europe (2001) and SOAS, University of London (2005). He has published on the functioning of the EU institutional framework (Documentation française, 2004 and 2008) and on the EU's foreign policy with Latin America (with Mahncke, 2004).
