Anna GRIECO joined the College of Europe in May 2019.
She has eleven years of professional experience working with technical assistance and capacity building projects within and outside the EU. Anna has a sound experience in EU project management and procedures (PRAG), and has managed, throughout her career, a number of complex EuropeAid projects with large budgets, which included coordination of project teams and regular liaison with contracting authority and subcontractors. Moreover, Anna has been exposed and involved in a number of communication activities for the EU institutions, such as communication campaigns, visibility activities and events organisation. In particular, Anna is familiar with production of audio/visual material (how to prepare a script, how to set-up the interviews, accessibility of AV material including accessible subtitles and ISL interpretation), production of publications including Easy-To-Read text, use of social media in communication campaigns. She is familiar with the Communication and Visibility Manual for EU External Actions gained throughout the management of communication projects for the EU Delegations.
Prior to joining the College of Europe, Anna used to work in the consulting field in Italy and in the UK. Throughout her career, she developed a sound knowledge of European policies in the field of development and cooperation, communications and public diplomacy, EU Foreign Policy, and training.
Anna holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from La Sapienza, University of Rome. Italian native speaker, she also speaks fluent English and has a working knowledge of French.
