Aoife Griffin (IE) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2022.
She holds an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies, with a major in the EU and its Neighbours from the College of Europe at Natolin (2022, Éliane Vogel-Polsky promotion), an MA in European Studies, majoring in EU external relations and globalisation (2021, KU Leuven) and a BA degree in History and Politics (2020, University College Cork).
Fields of interest: EU enlargement, Eastern Partnership, the Western Balkans, promotion of democracy, human rights and the rule of law and minority issues, nationalism and identity politics in the EU and its neighbourhood.
