Jovica Jović (BiH/RS) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2023.

He holds an MA in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University (2022-2023), an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies, with a major in EU Public Affairs and Policies, from the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw (Éliane Vogel-Polsky promotion 2021-2022), and a BA degree in International Relations and European Politics from Masaryk University in Brno (2018-2021). Over the course of his previous studies, he had carried out an exchange at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (2020).

Before joining the College, Jovica was a research intern at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht (2023), where he focused on researching recent developments in the EU’s common commercial policy.

Fields of interest: EU trade policy, international political economy, enlargement policy, theories of European integration, EU-China relations, EU institutions and decision-making.
