Lucie Coatleven (FR) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in February 2024.

She holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (2022-2023, David Sassoli Promotion), an MSc in European Politics from the University College of London (2020-2021) and a BA from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg (2017-2020). She also attended the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina as an exchange student (2019-2020).

Before joining the College, Lucie was a Schuman trainee within the Strategic Foresight Unit of the European Parliament, DG EPRS (2022), and an intern for the Joint European Disruptive Initiative, a Franco-German think tank whose aim is to promote disruptive innovation in Europe (2021). She also served as a trainee within the representation of Action Against Hunger to the EU (2023).
