Nicola Raspo (IT) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2023.

He holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (2022-2023, David Sassoli Promotion), an MA in International Security Studies from the University of Trento and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (2020-2022), and a BA in International Studies Development and Cooperation from the University of Turin (2016-2019). During his Bachelor’s degree, he carried out an Erasmus exchange at the Institut d’Études Politiques in Lyon (2018-2019). He completed an internship at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union in Brussels, working on the internal market, energy, and telecommunications dossiers (2022).

Fields of interest: conflict studies and post-conflict peace building, EU peace mediation, EU-Balkans relations, EU-MENA relations.
