Sanae Youbi joined the College of Europe as an Academic Assistant at the European Political and Governance Studies Department since August 2022.

Academic background: Master’s with honors in Political Science with a specialization International Relations at the ULB and a specialized Masters in European Studies at the Institute for European Studies in Brussels, with a specialization in Policy and Regulation in the EU.

Experiences: EU policy and communications experience, having worked both at the European Parliament and with Brussels-based associations. In her role, she was assisting the coordination of the political and legislative activities of an MEP, providing with political and legislative advice, and was involved in outreach, political communications strategies and network building. She has also been collaborating with NGOs, civil society, and interest groups, through various advocacy campaigns.

Fields of interest: Environment, Employment and Social Affairs, Monetary Policy, Justice and Fundamental Rights, Migration and Home Affairs.

  • August 2021-December 2021: Intern at the European Parliament, Greens-EFA Group. Committee for Industry, Research and Energy, and Committee for Transport and Tourism.
