- The CSDP: Its development, key institutions and decision-making processes, key cooperation tools and initiatives between Member States, EU military and civilian missions and operations abroad
- The EU’s security and defence toolbox and its role in crisis management
- EU’s current and future responses to pressing security and defence threats as well as geopolitically changes
- New and emerging threats, with a focus on cyberthreats and climate change: how the EU is responding to them and building resilience
- Past and new partnerships of the EU in the security and defence field.
