Launch of InclusivEU Scholarship

On Tuesday, 10 October 2023, during an event at The Press Club in Brussels, we launched InclusivEU, a new diversity and inclusion initiative in partnership with the EU offices of BCW, Dentons Global Advisors, and FTI Consulting. It seeks to improve social and cultural mobility in higher education, and at the College specifically, and contribute to the diversification of the future talent pipeline in public affairs in Brussels.

The initiative offers a scholarship to a talented student from communities who have been historically underrepresented at the College and will hopefully drive a larger pool of candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Rector Federica Mogherini and Shada Islam, College of Europe visiting professor in Natolin and advocate for more diversity and inclusion in the EU, spoke during the launch event. Luís Loureiro de Amorim from EPSO, Julie Pascoët from the ENAR (European Network Against Racism), and Myriam Watson from the EEAS also intervened in a panel discussion.
