Chiara GABBIANI (IT) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2026.
She holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (2025-2026, Victoria Amelina promotion), a Master’s degree in World Politics and International Relations (2023-2025) and a BA in Political Science and International Relations (2020-2023), both from the University of Pavia. There, she also obtained an MA in Social Sciences from the IUSS School of Advanced Studies (2023-2026). During her Bachelor’s degree, she carried out an Erasmus exchange at the Institut d’études Politiques in Grenoble (2022) and completed an internship at the Italian Consulate in Freiburg in Breisgau (2025).
Fields of interest: contemporary warfare, hybrid threats, cybersecurity and use of AI in diplomatic practice.
