Originally from Iran, Amin moved to Belgium in 2017. He spent four years as a Research Assistant at the University of Antwerp, Faculty of Business and Economics, where he gained valuable academic experience. In 2021, he transitioned into the field of data protection, joining Forvis Mazars in Belgium as an Advisory Consultant and Data Protection Officer, working for three years on both internal and client-facing projects.
Passionate about data protection and GDPR, Amin is excited to further develop in this field and contribute to strengthening data governance at the College of Europe.
Academic background: MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Glasgow, UK, 2017, and MA in Economics from Sharif University of Technology Teheran, Iran, 2015.
