A single tree with many roots and branches

The Alumni Association brings together over 15,000 alumni of the College of Europe and plays an active role in the life of the College.

"The Association hosts events that offer alumni opportunities for networking and reconnection. These events range from formal conferences and receptions to informal gatherings, cultural activities, and work-life balance events. A highlight for many former students is the Anniversary dinner held every five years post-graduation. 

The Association manages an alumni contact database, providing ex-students access to the "Alumni Who’s Who" research tool via its website. Thematic groups have recently emerged as hubs for the Association’s specialized activities. These groups – including Energy, Women’s, ICT, Environmental, and Health – facilitate networking and foster communities of experts in their respective fields. 

Younger alumni can benefit from the experience and guidance of senior alumni, particularly through our mentoring program. Additionally, the Association frequently posts job opportunities on its website and distributes a career-focused newsletter. We also host career-centric events like networking evenings and skills workshops, all while collaborating closely with the College of Europe's Careers Office. 

Based in Brussels, the Association extends its reach globally through various Regional Groups. Operating as a non-profit, the Alumni Association is steered by College alumni who volunteer their time and expertise. We are supported by our part-time staff member, Ms. Aline VAN DAM".
