On Tuesday 21 April, the Natolin Security and Defence Society (NSDS) held the second instalment of its European Security Webinars.

This event addressed definitions of radicalisation, the difference between Islamic radicalisation and far-right radicalisation, the scale of the problem in Europe, and what European states and civil society are doing to counter it.

The list of invited speakers included:

  • Dr Łukasz JURCZYSZYN, Director of Brussels Office, Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM)
  • Dr hab. Katarzyna GÓRAK-SOSNOWSKA, Associate Professor, Collegium of Socio- Economics Institute of International Studies
  • Dr hab. Aleksandra GASZTOLD, Associate Professor, Department of Internal Security, University of Warsaw

The discussion with European experts was moderated by Ms Ayse ABACI and the audience of over 60 people included students from both campuses and many alumni.
