On 14 October 2014, the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe had the honor of hosting H.E. Mr Harri TIIDO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Poland.

    

Ambassador TIIDO came to Natolin to give a lecture in the framework of the preparation for the first semester study trip to the Baltic States, entitled "Baltic States: Regional security and the Russian factor".

    

As former Deputy Under-Secretary of Security Policy at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and former Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to NATO, Ambassador TIIDO offered a first-hand insight into the intricacies of security considerations for this region situated at the immediate proximity of the Russian Federation.
