On 20 February 2014, Mr Theo THOMAS, World Bank Lead Economist for Central Europe and the Baltic Countries gave a presentation on the recent Report for EU Central and Baltic Countries, followed by a Q&A session with the students of Natolin. The event was open only to Natolin students.

        

Mr THOMAS became Lead Economist and Sector Leader for Central Europe and the Baltic Countries in August 2013. He is the editor for the biannual Regional Economic Report as well as overseeing Bank operations and economic and public sector advisory services across the region. He is also a member of the Bank’s Global Expert Team (GET) for Public Sector Performance, working countries across the world, and has taught, edited and published work on performance budgeting, fiscal space and public investment management.
