On Friday 22 February 2019, Professor Vincent GEISSER gave a special lecture at the College of Europe in Natolin entitled "Political Transition in Tunisia: The Uncertain Path of Democratization".

The lecture was part of a preparatory lecture series for the Manuel Marín Promotion students participating in the second semester study trip to Tunisia. In April 2019, Natolin students embarked upon one out of five tailor-made study trips. To learn more about the different destinations and topics of the study trips, click here.

Professor Vincent GEISSER is a researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and at the Institut de recherches et d’études sur les mondes arabes et musulmans (IREMAM). Prof. GEISSER teaches at the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence, France, where he directs the Master of Political Science "Political Developments and Mutations of Societies".

The lecture was given in French and the Q&A session was both in English and French.
