Programme

The participants of the Governance Programme will receive:

  • Two weeks of onsite training in Bruges & Brussels
    • First week of training focused on key-components comprising the European project;
      • The history of European integration and European politics;
      • The EU’s legal order;
      • Europe’s economic integration;
      • The EU’s differentiated integration (enlargement and Brexit);
    • Study trip to the European institutions;
    • General focus on key internal andexternal policies of the European Union (week 2);
    • Online self-paced modules to help prepare for the seminar;
    • Skills-oriented workshops;
    • Tailoring of the programme through elective sessions;
    • Practical application of all skills-oriented workshops and knowledge in full-day simulation game.

The participants of the Policies and Priorities Programme will receive:

  • One week of onsite training in Bruges
    • Focus on the headline ambitions highlighted in the Commission’s Work Programme and on the perspective for the next years;
    • Skills-oriented workshops;
    • Key-note speech from high-level experts and practitioners;
    • Tailoring of the programme through elective sessions;
    • Practical application of all skills-oriented workshops and knowledge in full-day simulation game.

Both programmes are complemented by social activities to contribute to the networking component of the Seminar such as:

  • Welcome receptions;
  • Guided tour of Bruges and boat tour;
  • Shared lunches & dinners between participants;
  • Farewell dinner.
