On 15 February 2024, the College of Europe in Natolin had the privilege to welcome Ms Roberta METSOLA, President of the European Parliament.
Ms METSOLA delivered a live keynote address to the Natolin students of the Madeleine Albright academic year 2023/2024, in the presence of the representatives of the Polish authorities, the College authorities, and the diplomatic corps. The guest of honour was welcomed by Ms Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, and greeted by Ms Federica MOGHERINI, Rector of the College of Europe.
During her address, President METSOLA spoke about her own experience as a College of Europe student, and spoke of the many benefits of the experience, highlighting (among other things) the unique knowledge that the College of Europe offers to students:
"thinking beyond individual academic disciplines and building bridges with a wider perspective between Europe and the world."
After the keynote address, the Natolin Student Representatives took the floor, followed by a performance by the Student Choir of the College of Europe in Natolin.
The event was livestreamed and the video from the event is available to view below, as well as on our YouTube channel.
