On Friday 11 January 2019, the students of the College of Europe in Natolin have participated in the very interesting conference on "Sexual Violence Against Women in Armed Conflict" held by Ms Jelena APARAC and organised by the Women’s Rights Watch Society (WRW), a student’s initiative.

Ms APARAC shared with the students her experience as field adviser for Médecins sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) in armed conflict areas and her knowledge of the international law framework on this very sensitive topic.

The Women’s Rights Watch Society thanks Ms APARAC for having accepted to hold this conference and to discuss her inspiring career path and experience with the students after the conference.
