Opening Lecture of the MATA Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy

A week ago, on Friday, November 10th, the College of Europe proudly hosted the inaugural Opening Lecture of the new MATA Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy. Dr. Ian Lesser, the Chairholder, provided an insightful overview of the current state and future prospects of transatlantic relations. The lecture was introduced by Rector Federica Mogherini and followed by an engaging Q&A session involving students and external participants, moderated by Prof. Michele Chang.

This landmark Opening Lecture inaugurates a series of activities organized by the newly established MATA Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy, in collaboration with Microsoft. The Chair will engage in teaching, research, and the organization of future events focused on understanding the evolving dynamics and challenges within transatlantic relations.
