On Monday, 15 November 2021, the College of Europe in Natolin hosted a Panel Discussion entitled: European Integration and Religious Communities: an Ongoing Dialogue.

About the event

Europe is built on the principle of human dignity and respect for different beliefs, religions, and cultures. In this sense, The College of Europe in Natolin supports a constructive and effective dialogue with churches and religious associations or communities, and with philosophical and non-confessional organizations all around Europe. Such issues were discussed in a dedicated forum where a wide circle of attendees and speakers exchanged views among them, thus widening the perspective of our students, researchers and the society at large.

About the speakers

  • Ms Katrin HATZINGER, Director of the Brussels Office of the Protestant Church in Germany (EKD);
  • H. Em. Cardinal Jean-Claude HOLLERICH, Archbishop of Luxembourg;
  • H. Em. Mr Husein KAVAZOVIĆ, Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • Rabbi Moshe LEWIN, Vice President of the Conference of European Rabbis.

Moderation: Amb. Thomas Mayr-Harting
