On 31 August 2013, in keeping up with College of Europe tradition, the Natolin campus hosted a five-year reunion of its alumni from the Politkovskaya & Dink Promotion (2007-2008). More than half of the 101 alumni of that year at Natolin assembled once again on the campus. Among those present was also the baby of a Dutch-Polish couple who had originally met as students six years ago!
As well as sharing memories of their time together at Natolin, the alumni had the chance to meet 70 new students of the upcoming Voltaire Promotion, already on the campus for introductory and language courses.
To help current students with their career plans, the alumni made a presentation about life after the College. A number of former students shared their experiences and gave advice. The organisers were careful to select speakers who represent the diversity of the student body at Natolin, not only from the EU28 but also from non-EU countries. Current students were able to learn of a range of career paths, within the EU institutions, but also in national administrations and in global enterprise.
After these meetings and a chance to network, the alumni were treated to an outdoor buffet dinner at the Manor House in the Natolin Palace grounds.
