Meet the Author: Discussion on Sylvie KAUFFMANN's Latest Book "Les aveuglés, comment Berlin et Paris ont ouvert la voie à la Russie"

On Friday, 19 January 2024, the College of Europe in Natolin hosted a meeting with Ms Sylvie KAUFFMANN about her latest book: Les aveuglés, comment Berlin et Paris ont ouvert la voie à la Russie.

About the speaker

Sylvie KAUFFMANN is the editorial director and foreign affairs columnist at Le Monde. She was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper in 2010-2011. She joined Le Monde in 1987 following her work for Agence France Presse as a correspondent in Moscow. From 1988 to 1993, she covered, as Eastern and Central Europe correspondent, the collapse of the Soviet empire and the transition of new European democracies to a market economy.

The event is organized by the European Civilization Chair and will be moderated by Prof. Georges MINK.
