Natolin (Warsaw) Campus

The College of Europe in Natolin organised a career session about the Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) Programme with Ms Daria JANKIEL, a distinguished alumna of Natolin and a former participant in this Programme.

The Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) Programme was established by the European Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS). The aim of the Programme is to enable young people to gain a first-hand experience in the work of EU Delegations and an in-depth understanding of their role in the implementation of EU external policies. It gives an opportunity to highly qualified junior professionals from the EU Member States to work in the EU Delegations worldwide.

During this career session Ms JANKIEL shared invaluable insights into the JPD Programme, covering key aspects such as:

  • the programme’s objectives and global posting opportunities;
  • life and work in EU Delegations;
  • the application process and tips for a successful application;
  • how to maximize the benefits of this unique professional experience abroad.

The session was followed by a Q&A, offering students a chance to engage directly and gain tailored advice. With the next call for applications expected in January 2025, this event was an excellent opportunity  for the ones who have interest in EU diplomacy career.
