The Natolin students of the David Sassoli Promotion were invited to participate in a Polish Traditional Christmas Dinner – called Wigilia – offered by the Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA. The Rector of the College of Europe, Mrs Federica MOGHERINI, participated in the dinner.
“You may not celebrate Christmas every year in Natolin, but I do hope, that you will carry the warmth of this evening wherever life will take you.” - Vice-Rector Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA
“You have much to celebrate during this dinner, not only exams. Enjoy the evening, the holiday break, and let’s achieve even greater things next year.” - Rector Federica MOGHERINI
The Polish Wigilia is a unique opportunity to gather in the Natolin Restaurant and celebrate Christmas and the upcoming festivities. According to the Polish tradition, the Natolin Restaurant served typical dishes for the Wigilia, while the Natolin Choir entertained the students with the singing of several Christmas carols in different languages.
