Fourth Special Issue of "De Europa" - European and Global Studies Journal - Published, Featuring Six Master’s Theses by Natolin Students

The College of Europe in Natolin is proud to announce that the European and Global Studies Journal "De Europa", published by the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society at the University of Turin, has just released its fourth special issue featuring six selected Master’s theses written by Natolin students of the Éliane Vogel-Polsky promotion (2022).

The issue, which comes on the initiative of Professor Umberto MORELLI †, is both a tribute to the close collaboration between the University of Turin and the College of Europe in Natolin, and the fruit of highly innovative work of the students of Natolin.

The guest editor of this fourth special issue is Professor Georges MINK, Chairholder of the European Civilisation Chair. The theses published in this issue were presented in the academic year 2021-2022 for the degree of Advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies.

They cover a diverse string of topics, from the relations between Polish civil society and the European institutions in the context of the attempt to harmonise abortion regulations in the EU's legal framework (Jade IAFRATE), to labour conditions in the EU through the focus on Youtubers and Streamers (Antonino MATAFU). Other pieces of work focused on the use of social media in crisis management (Álvaro GARROTE FUENTES), heterogeneities in fiscal policy in the EU (Christina STUART), discourse analysis related to GMO regulation in the EU (Pierre WALCKIERS), and the relationship between Nazism and the writings of Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Hegel (Lorenzo CORNETTONE).
