On 29 October 2013, the Israeli Ambassador to Poland, H.E. Mr Zvi RAV-NER, gave a Natolin Neighbourhood Ambassadorial Talk. This event was organized by the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe as a part of a series of events during the academic year 2013-2014, dedicated to the analysis of continuity and change in the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Southern and Eastern Neighborhood alike.
The talk was followed by a Q&A session and a reception, and the language of the event was English.
About the speaker:
Mr Zvi RAV-NER, born in 1950 in Świdnica (Poland), immigrated to Israel at the age of 7. After obtaining a degree in Communications, Television, Cinema, & Hebrew Literature at the Tel Aviv University he joined the Israeli Foreign Service (1977). Served as a diplomat in Helsinki, Bucharest and repeatedly in London. In the meantime, he held twice the position of the Director of Central Europe Department in Israeli MFA. From April 2009, he is serving as an Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to Poland. Married since 1973 to Diti, a painter; he has two sons, one daughter & three granddaughters.
