On 11 March 2014, Ms Judyta FIEDIN, graduate in policy analysis of the RAND Graduate School of Policy Studies in Santa Monica, California, gave a lecture on selected aspects of foreign assistance in support of democracy-building. The lecture was part of a preparatory programme for the Voltaire students taking part in the study trip to Georgia, that ran from 17 until 23 March 2014. This event was for students only.


Judyta FIEDIN is an international consultant whose main areas of expertise include democracy-building, public governance and public administration reforms, civil society, foreign assistance and donor coordination, programme design and results-based frameworks. She worked at the Polish Office of Government Plenipotentiary for European Integration and Foreign Assistance as the coordinator of the SIERRA (Support to the Implementation of the Europe Agreement) programme, and worked in different capacities at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris (OECD-EC SIGMA Programme, OECD Centre for Cooperation with Non-Members, OECD-UNDP Partnership for Democratic Governance PDG). Ms FIEDIN's main geographical focus covers the post-Soviet countries, including Georgia.
