Natolin Choir sings at the Royal Castle in Warsaw

At the beginning of the year, for the first time in its history Bulgaria took up the rotating Presidency in the Council of the European Union for the next six months. To celebrate this special occasion the Embassy of Bulgaria in Poland organized a concert on 29 January 2018 in the Royal Castle of Warsaw. The Natolin Choir, represented by 25 students, was honored to open the evening with Bulgarian, Polish and European anthems inside the golden walls Great Assembly Hall.

In his address to over 200 guests among them Polish officials and foreign diplomats, H.E. Mr Emil YALNAZOV, Ambassador of Bulgaria to Poland, emphasized that Bulgaria's cultural priority during the presidency is music. Following this, the sounds of duet by violin and cello performing famous Bulgarian pieces filled the room that used to host banquets, balls and concerts in the 18th century.
