TEDxCollegeOfEurope Natolin – Student Competition

On Saturday 13 February 2016, three Natolin students competed for a coveted spot delivering a talk alongside distinguished guests at the TEDxCollegeOfEuropeNatolin: "(When) It’s Up to You!", taking place at the Natolin campus on 6 April 2016.

The three finalists had been shortlisted by a panel including students and staff, from thirteen students who submitted fantastic applications on a wide range of themes related to choice. Mr George TURLEY talked about global justice and encouraged the audience to play their part to tackle global inequality. Ms Elena WETTER spoke about the influence of the ego in international negotiations and why individuals may not be as important as they think they are. Mr Laurin BERRESHEIM talked about the choices we can and cannot make, in particular the "existential choices" that make you who you are.

After hearing all three fantastic talks, a jury made up of students involved in the TEDx organisation; Mr Richard WASHINGTON, Director of Communications; and Ms Urszula RAPACKA, Head of the Natolin Careers Service, named Mr Laurin BERRESHEIM the winner.
