Visit of the Data Protection Office officials in Natolin

On Tuesday, 9 October 2018, a group of officials from data protection agencies across Europe visited the College of Europe in Natolin.

The visit, which included a tour of the Natolin premises, concluded with a dinner with a group of interested students who wanted to know more about matters related to data and data protection across Europe. The conversation flowed freely: discussed topics included the often fluid distinction between privacy and competition laws, the role that encrypted communications play in privacy, and how data protection offices function from an institutional and management perspective.
