Ми з вами! Solidarity with the Ukrainian members of our community

Today the world has woken up to dramatic news about the war waged against Ukraine.

The entire community of the College of Europe in Natolin is devastated by the news coming from Ukraine. One can hardly imagine what our Ukrainian students and staff members must be going through right now.

In the afternoon, the Vice-Rector Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA met with our Ukrainian students to reassure them that every member of the Natolin community is at their disposal, and to respond to their needs and concerns in these tragic circumstances.

As a symbol of our solidarity, the Ukrainian flags have been displayed over the Natolin campus. One of the student residences is also being illuminated in blue and yellow, the national colours of Ukraine.

Apart from the constant support provided to the Ukrainian members of our community, the College of Europe Natolin will organise in the upcoming days under the aegis of its ENP Chair at least two events, addressing Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its multilayered implications with internal and external high-level experts.
On Monday, 28 February 2022, a fireside chat with Natolin professors will take place, whilst on Wednesday, 2 March 2022, Prof. Jamie SHEA, NATO's former Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, will engage with the Natolin community.
