Natolin Alumnus Michael Martin RICHTER Featured in 'Global Policy' and the Journal of Common Market Studies

Natolin alumnus Mr Michael Martin RICHTER (Hannah Arendt Promotion 2019/20) has been featured in the Journal of Common Market Studies (JCMS), through the publication of his academic article Victim of Its Own Success (?) – The European Union's Anti-corruption Policy Advice in Ukraine Between Grand Visions and (Geo)political Realities.

The JCMS is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering the politics and economics of European integration. Mr RICHTER's article questions whether EU external governance has not become a victim of its ‘own success’ through inadvertent moral hazard in the field of anti-corruption reform support.

The article is free to access via this link.

Mr RICHTER - soon-to-be Postdoctoral Research Fellow within Horizon 2020-funded programming - was also featured in the journal Global Policy with his article ‘Call the Bluff’ or ‘Build Back Better’—Anti-corruption reforms in post-war Ukraine. This article can be accessed here.
