The Natolin Community mourns the passing of Hon. Madeleine K. ALBRIGHT

The passing of Hon. Madeleine ALBRIGHT, 64th U.S. Secretary of State, was received with great sadness by the whole community of the College of Europe in Natolin. Throughout the years, our students had the privilege to understand the world through her inspiring lectures at Natolin. The Natolin Community deeply mourns her loss.

Madame ALBRIGHT visited Natolin twice. On 9 July 2016, when she was in Warsaw in connection with the NATO Summit in Warsaw, she got acquainted with the mission of the College of Europe, with Natolin and its history, with the European Interdisciplinary Studies (EIS) programme, and with the priorities and plans of the Natolin campus. Dr ALBRIGHT also met with the participants of the Fourth Edition of the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA). Three years later, on Thursday 7 March 2019, she returned to Natolin to inaugurate The Zbigniew Brzezinski Memorial Lecture Series.
