On Tuesday, 25 October 2022 the official Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2022/2023 took place at the College of Europe in Natolin.
On this special occasion, Natolin hosted Mr Stevo PENDAROVSKI, President of the Republic of North Macedonia, who delivered a keynote address to the Natolin students, professors and members of staff. In his speech, Mr PENDAROVSKI discussed North Macedonian-EU relations, and the matters concerning his country's accession.
Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, delivered her customary welcoming address to the students as they begin their academic year, and Ms Federica MOGHERINI, Rector of the College of Europe, who joined live from Bruges with an address to the guest of honour and to the students.
During the event in the Aula Copernicus, all participants, both online and at Natolin, had the opportunity to listen to a live performance byMr Radosław SOBCZAK, a renowned Polish pianist - followed by the Natolin Choir ). During the ceremony, the students also heard from the General Coordinator of their elected Student Representatives Body, in addition to a recorded message from the Student Representatives in Bruges.
Once the event in the Aula Copernicus had concluded, attendees made their way to the Natolin Winter Garden, wherein students, staff and other guests had an opportunity to interact more informally with Mr PENDAROVSKI.
