Portuguese Night at Natolin

On Monday, 7 March 2022, the Portuguese students of the College of Europe in Natolin organised a series of activities to celebrate Portuguese culture.

The activities began with a Portuguese gastronomical and wine tasting for dinner followed by a formal reception with welcome remarks from H.E. Mr Jorge VIEIRA RODRIGUES, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Portugal to Poland, addressing Portugal and Polish relations, as well as solidarity with Ukraine.

The cultural highlights of the night were the performance of João DE SOUSA, in his fado style, and the Natolin Choir's rendition of Salvator SOBRAL's famous song Amar pelos Dois which represented Portugal in the 2017 Eurovision contest edition which took place in Kyiv. The reception ended with a Port Wine tasting kindly provided by Portugalia Gourmet.

The Portuguese students and the whole Natolin Community warmly thanks the supporting institutions, the artists, the staff, and all those who made this national evening a beautiful moment for our College.
