Professor Kataryna WOLCZUK, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the College of Europe in Natolin, was invited to participate in the annual EuroMeSCo conference in Madrid in October 2023.
The conference, entitled "The Quest for a More Geopolitical EU Foreign Policy in the MENA Region", sought to address the implications of an increasingly 'geopolitical' EU against the backdrop of events such as the Russian war in Ukraine. The annual event is organised by EuroMeSCo, a network of research centres and think tanks in the Euro-Mediterranean area, in the aftermath of the Barcelona Declaration (1995).
Professor WOLCZUK contributed to the third Plenary Session of the Conference, and offered keynote insights on the future of the Eastern Partnership against the backdrop of the themes being dealt with at the conference.
