The Seminar of International Humanitarian Law, organized by the College of Europe and the International Committee of the Red Cross, took place at the Natolin campus (Nowoursynowska 84, Warsaw) from Monday 23 March to Wednesday 25 March 2015.

The aim of this seminar was to familiarize participants with new and emerging challenges with which the international community is confronted in the domain of Humanitarian Protection and Assistance in times of armed conflicts. Current challenges – such as the situation in Syria and Eastern Ukraine – were also addressed.

The seminar was open to students of the College of Europe and of Polish universities in Law and Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Diplomacy, European Studies, Journalism and other related fields, as well as to national experts.

A certificate of participation was given to participants who followed the entire program. The seminar was conducted in English without translation.
