The programme is organized by DG Human Resources and Security, Learning and Development Unit, of the European Commission. The overall aim of the programme is to enable Commission staff to familiarize themselves with the culture of the host country and improve their knowledge of political, administrative, economic and educational structures of the Member State. The programme is a key element in helping to learn more about current issues in the Member State.
The visit to the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe is one of the elements of the course giving participants an opportunity to learn about the College, its Academic Programme as well as discuss with the students. The Natolin campus has been taking part in the programme since its beginning in 2004.
