The Ukrainian students of the Madeleine Albright promotion at Natolin organized a special event commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on 24 February 2022.
The gripping documentary "20 Days in Mariupol", nominated for an Oscar in the "Best Documentary" category, and directed by Mstyslav Chernov, follows an Associated Press team of Ukrainian journalists trapped in the besieged city of Mariupol, who document the atrocities of the Russian invasion, capturing harrowing scenes of civilian life amidst the siege.
After the screening, a Q&A session took place with the Program Director of the "Watch Docs" Film Festival and a doctor who lived through the events depicted in the film.
Please note: This documentary contains heavy imagery and may be difficult to watch, but it's crucial to remember the impact of the conflict on Ukrainian cities.
