Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) 2023 launched at the College of Europe in Natolin

On Monday, 3 July 2023, the 11th edition of the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) was launched at the College of Europe in Natolin under the theme:

"Security and resilience in a changing world"

This year's edition was opened by the Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, who highlighted the importance of resilience in societies and encouraged participants to debate and use WEASA as a platform for the reintegration of the wider Europe.

The academic programme started with a discussion led by Mr Robert PSZCZEL, an international security expert and former NATO official, on real security challenges exposed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

WEASA 2023 is hosting a diverse group of 40 participants: public officers, journalists, analysts, diplomats, and civic activists from the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans.
