#WeNatoliniansForValencia: a series of student led charitable activities

From 28/11 15:00 till 29/11 12:40
Auditorium Copernicus
Natolin (Warsaw) Campus

The Spanish students of the Jacques Delors Promotion 2024/25 at the College of Europe in Natolin expressed their devastation over the recent catastrophic floods in Spain and paid tribute to the victims and the unity shown by Spanish citizens. They highlighted the collective efforts of citizens in aiding the affected areas.

As the number of people affected is immense and help is needed in many areas, the students’ project #WeNatoliniansForValencia aimed to embody this spirit of unity and focus on aiding a school, Nuestra Señora del Socorro, to rebuild and restore educational opportunities for children, a vital part of societal progress. To raise funds, they organised activities like a solidarity coffee, race, football and volleyball matches, with symbolic participation fees.

Contributions can still be made online: https://gofund.me/af9840cc.

You can follow them on their newly created Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/spanishcoenatolin/ where you can find all the information about the project and the activities that took place.

WeNatolinians for Valencia

We Natolinians For charity activation started with the We Natolinians for Ukrainians fundraising established by the students of the Vogel-Polsky Promotion (2021/22) at the beginning of the Russian full-scale war against Ukraine. They raised an incredible sum for an orphanage for Ukrainian children.

The following year, the Natolin students of the David Sassoli Promotion (2022/23) helped the Hospitaliers batallion.

The Madeleine Albright Promotion has chosen to support the medical sector in Ukraine and to raise money for portable medical equipment, such as defibrillators and ultrasound scanners. The Natolin students of this promotion (2023/24) decided to support Future for Ukraine, a charitable foundation started by brave Ukrainian women in Poland.

As an institution we are pleased to see that this student-led charitable initiative continues to live and help communities in need. We stand with our students!
