Jon Worth is a British-German Bourgogne-based self-employed consultant. His work covers training and teaching about online communication, teaching and analysis of EU politics, and writing. In the past much of his work was about UK-EU relations, but since Brexit he has increasingly focused on sustainable transport topics in the EU, notably through his #CrossBorderRail project.

Prof. Worth holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Merton College, Oxford, and a MA in European Politics and Administration from the College of Europe, Bruges.

As well as teaching in Bruges he runs workshops for the University of Maastricht, TU Braunschweig and Sciences-Po (Paris).

He has been responsible for the online communications for large political campaigns such as Harriet Harman for Labour Party Deputy Leader (2007), Diane Abbott for Labour Leader (2010) and the Atheist Bus Campaign (2009). He consults politicians, governments, EU institutions, trade associations and NGOs about online communications and social media. He is one the best known bloggers about the EU (https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jonworth.eu%2F&data=05%7C02%7Csofia.torresbizou%40coleurope.eu%7Ce57820600d314eb8a97808dcd7b92994%7Cd6d6e5faff7b4829ac38e4b9cbf78efa%7C0%7C0%7C638622437493838720%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=6qbmItQAF5Us01Ex9GJczoexhuXurPpfNNLom6Z%2FmmM%3D&reserved=0) and has been one of the pioneers using alternatives to Twitter for EU policy communication.
