Alumni Relations Officer - College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw
The College of Europe in Natolin is looking for a communicative and engaged Alumni Relations Officer with a starting date in September 2026. The Officer will have the possibility of shaping and maintaining relations with a community of more than 3000 alumni all over the world.
About the College of Europe in Natolin
Established on the initiative of the Hague Congress in 1949, the College of Europe is the world’s oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. After the end of the Cold War, in 1992 the College of Europe in Natolin began its mission to prepare students to think not only beyond disciplinary boundaries, but also beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe.
Ever since its foundation, the College of Europe in Natolin has been home to the academic programme of European Interdisciplinary Studies, regularly adapting its content to the changing international context and exploring emerging areas of study in European affairs.
Key responsibilities
As an Alumni Relations Officer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, lifelong connections with our alumni community. You will coordinate regular communications, manage alumni records and engagement data, and develop outreach campaigns that keep graduates informed, connected, and actively involved with the institution.
You will support the planning and delivery of alumni events, reunions, networking activities, and mentoring programmes, creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to reconnect with the College and contribute to student and campus life. Acting as a key point of contact, you will foster alumni participation through volunteering, mentoring, and other engagement initiatives.
Working closely with colleagues across the institution, you will help shape and implement long-term alumni engagement strategies aligned with institutional priorities. You will monitor engagement outcomes, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic projects that strengthen alumni relationships, enhance community impact, and support the continued growth of our alumni network.
Qualifications and competencies
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-oriented professional with a university degree in European Studies, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, while knowledge of French or additional languages will be considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and intercultural competencies are essential to effectively engage with a diverse international alumni community.
Candidates should be comfortable working with databases and digital communication tools, and demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach. The ability to build positive relationships, take initiative, and work effectively as part of a team will be key to success in this role.
Previous experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, community building, or a similar field is highly appreciated. Flexibility and a willingness to travel occasionally are also required to support events, outreach activities, and the continued development of our alumni network.
