Monika DZIANACHOWSKA

Monika Dzianachowska joined the College of Europe in Natolin as Wellbeing Officer in 2026.

Her background brings together the humanities, international relations, academic teaching and psychological support. She holds degrees in International Relations and Cultural Anthropology and received her PhD in Humanities from the Warsaw University in 2010. Earlier in her career, she worked as a university lecturer and as an analyst in the field of international relations and migration.

Monika is also an alumna of the College of Europe in Natolin. Having experienced Natolin first as a student makes her return to the College in a role dedicated to student wellbeing particularly meaningful and gives her a personal understanding of the intensity, opportunities and challenges of life in this unique international community.

In recent years, her professional focus has increasingly shifted towards psychological wellbeing, personal development and supporting people through change. She is a certified coach and mentor and is currently completing a four-year psychotherapy training programme at Laboratorium Psychoedukacji in Warsaw. She also holds a professional qualification in community-based mental health support. Her experience includes individual coaching and psychological support, psychoeducational work and clinical placements in psychiatric and mental health settings. She has also worked with people experiencing social exclusion and difficult life circumstances, supporting them in strengthening their resources, agency and capacity for change.

At Natolin, she supports students in navigating the personal, relational and emotional challenges of an intensive international academic experience. Her role includes individual wellbeing consultations, workshops and group activities, as well as initiatives aimed at strengthening wellbeing and fostering a supportive campus community.
