Natolin Digital and Security Nest's field trip to Google Cloud Technology Development Center in Warsaw

On Thursday, 2 February 2023, the Natolin Digital and Security Nest organized the first activity of the second semester: a field trip to the Google Cloud Technology Development Center, which was established last year at The Warsaw Hub.

It is Europe’s largest cloud services center. The office is responsible for services that dynamically allocate data center computing power for business customers and virtual machines, as well as the proper operation of the global network connecting Google’s cloud services.

The students had the possibility to engage with Ms Jagoda ZAKRZEWSKA, Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager, and Mr Marcin KRASUSKI, CEE Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead.

  • Ms Jagoda ZAKRZEWSKA, Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager, Google

Ms Jagoda ZAKRZEWSKA is Public Policy Manager at Google, where she covers the topics related to the impact of new technologies on the economy. Previously, she worked at the Ministry of Development and the US Embassy in Warsaw, among others. Over the years of her career, she has specialized in developing and managing educational programs related to new technologies, security, international relations and culture. She holds a degree in Sociology and graduated from the University of Warsaw and the Collegium of World Economy at the Warsaw School of Economics. She is an alumna of the Aspen Institute’s Young Leaders programme. 

  • Mr Marcin KRASUSKI, CEE Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead, Google Cloud

Mr Marcin KRASUSKI is CEE Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead at Google Cloud. He is based in Warsaw, where he works on public policy issues facing cloud, including cybersecurity or data policies. He is well experienced in the digital policy world as he has previously worked in the telecom sector, the Polish public administration, and in international fora, including the European Union’s institutions and the International Telecommunication Union.
