On 1 March 2011, in the framework of the 2011 Study Trip to Ukraine organized for the students of “the EU as a Regional Actor” major, the Natolin (Warsaw) Campus organized its second introductory conference. The topic addressed was the EU - Ukraine economic relations.

The conference was chaired by Dr Kerry Longhurst.

The speakers were:

  • Prof. Igor Burakovsky, Head of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, Kiev: “EU-Ukraine Economic Relations: An Introduction”.
  • Mr Ernest Wyciszkiewicz, Energy Security Programme Coordinator, Polish Institute of International Affairs: “Energy Issues”.
  • Ms Marta Gajęcka, former Vice-President of the European Investment Bank, who will deliver the speech: “The EIB and its Challenges in Eastern Neighbouring Countries”.
